How long do Hinge Signals last?
Signals does not have a fixed expiration date. Hinge evaluates activity over a rolling 30-day window and refreshes eligibility daily, so a badge can remain, disappear, or return as recent behavior changes.
The 30-day window, simply explained
Think of Signals as a moving window rather than a permanent award. Each day, older activity moves out of the 30-day period and newer activity enters it. Your status can change when your recent participation or a baseline requirement changes.
Why a badge may change
- Your recent participation no longer meets enough criteria
- Your Selfie Verification lapses after a photo change
- Your profile or account no longer meets a baseline requirement
- A restored requirement has not reached the next daily refresh
A Signals badge is not a live activity indicator. A visible badge cannot tell you whether someone is online, swiping, or currently dating.
When should you check again?
If you recently restored verification or changed your participation, wait at least one complete day. If the badge is still missing, use our independent eligibility checker or review why Signals disappeared or stopped updating.
